The salary scale for a Band 3 has been adjusted as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2026/2027 and will be implemented in August 2026 backdated to 01 April 2026 where applicable.

 

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join BCUHB as Lead Medical and Dental  Education Coordinator (based at Ysbyty Gwynedd). We are seeking to recruit a highly organised and experienced professional to join our growing  team.

This is an engaging and rewarding role that goes beyond basic admin duties.  You will work with the medical education team in providing high quality teaching programmes for foundation doctors, training and non-training doctors, medical students, and physician associate students. 

 

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a friendly and approachable team player to join our established medical education department.  If you are organised, flexible, and keen to develop yourself and others, then we could be a perfect fit!

You will be responsible for producing and developing teaching programmes primarily for medical students from a range of medical schools but will also be involved in postgraduate medical education.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to manage your time effectively with competing priorities.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
