The position of Assistant Clinical Services Rota Coordinator will offer an individual the chance to develop skills at a management level. Main duties of the job
The role of the Assistant Clinical Services Rota Coordinator is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Specialist Manager / Lead Manager, by collecting, recording, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting statistical data required to monitor compliance with Welsh Government targets. The Assistant Service Support Manager will assist the Specialist Manager / Lead Manager to ensure there is sufficient staffing to support medical staff so the department can run smoothly.
The role involves being an integral member of the operational team, coordinating, organizing, attending, and administering a number of meetings.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this position; warm applications are welcome.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- NVQ 3 in Administration/RSA III or equivalent level of knowledge/experience.
- GCSE A-C English & Maths / Equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or Equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages - Word / Excel / Outlook
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant office administration experience
- Able to use own initiative and judgement to analyse and resolve problems
- Ability to support and deliver to deadlines on a wide range of administration processes
- Experience of communicating directly at all levels in an organisation
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS Experience
- Rota administration experience
Aptitude and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Report production and minute taking
- Advanced keyboard skills
- Knowledge of the NHS
- Work as part of a team and on own initiative as required
