Job overview

This post is fixed term/secondment for 32 months to meet the needs of the service.   If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.  

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.

Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has occurred to join the highly motivated District Nursing Service in the Anglesey locality. The role will involve the successful candidate supporting the district nursing team to care for those living in the community who require nursing care. 

Applicants should be enthusiastic with an awareness of and committed to the modernisation of the service. They should be able to work well within a team and also alone.

You must be able to travel between patients homes both within towns and rural areas in a timely manner.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
