We are looking for a B3 People Services  Assistant, to be based at Preswylfa, Mold,  supporting our PAN Services  HR & Recruitment teams.

In this role you will provide admin support to the People Services teams, acting as a first point of contact and an understanding of what a career in these disciplines could look like.

It’s a busy environment and no two days are the same.  You will be part of our supportive and engaged team whose work brings us in contact with a wide variety of people and situations on a daily basis. We take a customer service approach to everything we do.

To make the most of this opportunity you will need strong IT skills (Microsoft office predominantly), previous admin experience and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time. You will need to be confident in engaging with enquiries by phone, email and in person.

Main duties of the job

The post holder shall support all HR and recruitment activities for West and will support offsite activities providing support facilitating HR, recruitment & careers events. 

The post holder will work effectively as a key member of the People Services team by providing  an efficient, accurate and prompt administrative support to the team's including reception; photocopying, filing, answering telephone calls, minutes in meetings, reports and data sharing etc

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post: Welsh and/or English speakers are equally invited to apply.

Essential criteria
  • NVQ level 3 relevant to the role or with equivalent work experience
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • Working towards CIPD, relevant degree

Experience

  • Proficiency in clerical and administrative procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Work without supervision
  • Experience of handling confidential information Employee Relations issues
