Job Overview
Our role is to engage with and listen to the patients and public of Wales. We do this by reaching out to people in their local communities, hearing their views and understanding their experiences of health and social care. We will feed back to decision-makers to help shape and influence future services.

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Llais for a Governance and Risk Manager, Band 6, 37.5 hours per week.
This is a hybrid role, with both remote and office-based working.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable.
Main Duties of the job
The Governance and Risk Manager will play a key role in protecting and enhancing the reputation of Llais.
The post holder will be expected to undertake complex analysis and interpretation of policy and legislation, leading/coordinating the development of local implementation processes and procedures to ensure compliance. This will require decision making to ensure that the organisation discharges its responsibilities appropriately in what may be contentious or sensitive situations.
The post holder will be expected to use evidence-based practice, based on wider knowledge and research to develop and embed effective corporate governance, risk management and information requests procedures and processes across the organisation.
The post holder will be expected to always behave with integrity, ensure openness and comprehensive stakeholder engagement and define outcomes in line organisational priorities and ways of working. Contribute to robust decision making arrangements; developing capacity and capability within the organisation; managing risks and monitoring performance through contributing to the development of strong internal controls and implementing good practice to deliver effective accountability and assurance.
