Are you an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy leading teams, improving processes, and making a real difference behind the scenes?

We're looking for a Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our School Aged Immunisation Service on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering an essential public health programme that protects children and young people across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

You'll lead and support a dedicated administrative team, ensuring clinics run efficiently, data is accurate, and services are well coordinated. Working closely with clinical colleagues and partner organisations, you'll help shape and improve the service through effective planning, performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

This is a varied role, from coordinating clinic schedules and managing staff to analysing performance data and driving service improvements, you'll be at the heart of a service that has a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of local communities.

The post holder will oversee the administrative functions and on-going development of School Aged Immunisation Service.

  • line management of the administration team
  • liaison with clinicians to coordinate clinical aspects of the service
  • develop effective and efficient administrative systems including data capture and monitoring
  • develop excellent working relationships with relevant partner organisations
  • create reports to ensure that objectives and performance targets are met
  • provide effective leadership to promote a high quality and motivated team

This is a new post to provide additional capacity alongside the existing part-time Senior Administrative Coordinator

  • Educated to GCSE A – C in English and Mathematics
  • Qualification/ course or equivalent taken in management/ supervision/ administration
  • NVQ3 or above in Business Administration or equivalent

  • Appropriate Leadership Management qualification e.g. ILM 3 or above
  • Health & Safety management training/ course/ qualification
  • Undertaken relevant training in Data Protection/ Confidentiality/ Violence and Aggression

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience of managing/ developing or coordinating administrative systems within an office environment
  • Experience of setting up IT office systems and databases with ability to extract information and report effectively
