As a Band 4 Service Technician within the Digital Services Team at Bedford Hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting the Trust’s IT systems and ensuring colleagues have the tools they need to deliver excellent patient care.
Main Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for IT support, responding to incidents and service requests in line with agreed service levels.

Diagnose and resolve issues with PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 and other Trust systems.

Log and track all calls via the IT service management system, keeping users updated throughout.

Provide clear advice and guidance to colleagues, explaining technical issues in simple terms.

Support the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment and software.

Assist with IT projects, including hardware rollouts, system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives
