Are you an enthusiastic registered nurse who would enjoy working in a diverse, exciting & rewarding clinical area? Castle ward currently has an opportunity to appoint a staff nurse to join their friendly, professional and successful team.
Castle ward is a 29 bedded unit specialising in the care of rheumatology and endocrine patients. The Ward is also a medical ward that admits patients with general medical conditions.
Main duties of the job
All staff members have an active role in the health promotion of patients on castle ward. Working with our excellent highly skilled team you will develop a wide range of clinical skills helping to progress your career. There are opportunities to care for acutely ill patients, working within a competency frame work supporting you to gain more skills and knowledge in this specialty.
You will receive induction and specialist training tailored to the area including care of patients with Diabetes. We will provide you support through your induction and developmental phase. You will be allocated with a mentor who will guide you through completion of your competencies. We have a robust appraisal process to ensure that your professional development is achieved within a set time frame.
