Band 5 Staff Nurse (Oncology Outpatients) - Berkshire Cancer Centre
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate nurse with an interest in oncology who would like to develop their skills and knowledge in an outpatient setting, to join our team in the Berkshire Cancer Centre (BCC) Outpatients.
You will be responsible for managing and supporting a wide range of specialty clinics and developing services according to patient demand and need.
The position is within a small friendly team, supported by staff with a wealth of experience and knowledge to share and help them develop while caring for cancer patients.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for qualified nurses to extend their knowledge in oncology specialty and gain experience in working in an oncology outpatient setting.
You should have flexibility to work over 5 days and have the ability to motivate and support others with change initiatives.
Working for our organisation
The post holder will work as part of a small outpatient team responsible for the delivery of patient-focused care, which address the complex and changing health and well-being needs of oncology patients.
