Experienced Physiotherapist - Pelvic Health
We are excited to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist to our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team.
The successful applicant will work onsite at the Royal Berkshire Hospital covering both inpatient and outpatient caseloads, working across the maternity/gynaecology wards and outpatients within the Physiotherapy department.
You will have rotational experience as a junior Physiotherapist, as well as experience in pelvic health and musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
Main duties of the job
- To be a Senior Physiotherapist delivering patient centred, caring therapy for Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital (RBFT).
- To be professionally responsible for all aspects of your own work including the therapeutic management of patients in your care, with support from your supervisor.
- To use your physiotherapy knowledge and skills to provide specialist support and advice to the Multi-Disciplinary team and to manage own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner
- To deliver a high quality, effective and efficient physiotherapy service in the Therapy team.
- To be a member of the Therapy Department team, contributing to service development in Therapies and the Trust.

Essential criteria
- Degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
- NHS Experience across all core clinical areas
- Specialist knowledge of current evidence based best practice in Physiotherapy
Desirable criteria
- Pelvic Health Experience
- Maternity Physiotherapy Experience
Communication & relationship skills
Essential criteria
- Demonstrates professional independence
- Previous experience of working in pelvic health/women's health
- Good communication skills, including the ability to process and share information
Desirable criteria
- Training and presentation skills
