An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for a Referral Centre Team Leader to join our Team. We are looking for an individual with a
professional attitude and dedication combined with experience in people management and data analysis.
Our Service Operating hours are from 8am to 5pm and this role will be to manage the Admin Support Team Office based at Priestley
Wharf, Aston who work flexible hours between 0700 and 1700. This role will also involve Admin and Operational Support to the Management and
Clinical teams so travel between different locations will be required from time to time.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities of the Referral Centre Team Leader:
• Manage staff performance throughout the shift, ensuring workloads, resources are effectively managed.
• Ensure on-shift agents are kept up to date with issues and trends and cascade communications as appropriate.
• Act as an escalation point for service user issues.
• Champion a culture that demonstrates emotional engagement and empathy.
• Conducting 1-1 catch ups with the members of your team regularly.
• Monitoring the overall lateness and absence rates of your team members and conducting performance/conduct reviews where
necessary.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of people/team management including sickness/annual leave monitoring, shift
rostering, data analysis and reports as well as having an understanding of operational service delivery needs.
You will work closely with the Referral Centre Manager, Senior Team Leader and the Clinical Management Team to provide updates on
performance within the Referral Management Centre as well as the wider clinical team.

Essential criteria
- Experience of managing a Team of Administrative Support Staff
- Relevant experience of use of Electronic Administration Systems
Desirable criteria
- Experience of Budgetary Management
- Experience of staff management of shift work
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Education to A level or equivalent standard and/or relevant Experience.
- Evidence of continuous personal development
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of staff management and supervision procedures
- Familiar with working within operational guidelines & procedures
- Able to prioritise own and team’s workload
- Knowledge of IT & Telecommunications Systems
Desirable criteria
- Experience of analysis of data & preparing related reports
