Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Develop highly effective working relationships with the multi-disciplinary team.

Provides direct clinical services to clients, undertaking highly specialist psychological art psychotherapy assessments and providing highly specialist individual and group based art psychotherapy intervention as appropriate and as required,

Facilitates the dissemination of effective evidence informed psychological practice within the team and service by supporting psychologically informed protocols, guidelines and procedures implemented by other members of the MDT.

In completing agreed duties, plans, organises and prioritises own time, activities and workload (manages own clinical caseload, plans group sessions, plans and organises teaching and research activities, organises administrative responsibilities, etc)

Undertakes governance, audit and clinical administrative activities, collecting, collating and analysing data, writing and presenting reports and undertaking project development and implementation as appropriate.

All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust’s induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) by the end of your second week with us.

We limit this to one responsibility to allow for focused time on that topic, rather than having your time stretched too thinly. When taking on an additional responsibility, your case volume is reduced, making time available for this focused time.

For Senior Assessors, additional responsibility options include supporting more complex cases, ensuring quality assurance, providing training, facilitating family engagement, and contributing to pathway development.
