Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 CPN looking for a new challenge to work within West Assertive Outreach Team.

The Assertive Outreach Service is a multidisciplinary team that adopts a person-centred approach, focusing on individual recovery. We work with adults with complex, severe, and enduring mental health needs in the community. We work with 25 years plus and support people who have historically avoided contact with mental health services and do this using a flexible and creative approach to engagement.

This position would be suitable for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a qualification at degree level or equivalent and registration with a relevant professional body i.e NMC with several years’ community experience working with service users with complex long term needs.

The Assertive Outreach service operates over 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Our shift patterns consist of day shifts (9:00am - 5:00pm), late shifts (12:00pm - 8:00pm) and weekends (9:00am - 5:00pm). However, we can offer flexible working arrangements during these hours.

In return we can offer a friendly and supportive multi disciplinary environment in which to develop through training opportunities, regular individual and group supervision and a supportive team ethos.

The ability and willingness to travel across the Birmingham & Solihull area for work purposes is required for this role
