The Training lead will also be required, on occasions, for assisting in the delivery of the RRI training and will also work closely with the RRI consultants to ensure that there is direct assimilation of training from the classroom into clinical practice. This will include visiting and co-delivering training within clinical areas with the wider RRI team. The post holder will need to be able to travel across the Trust to multiple sites as part of this role. A recognised teaching qualification would be advantageous, Individuals will be trained to deliver the Trusts RRI (AVERTS) programme, therefore previous trainer experience is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be able to work collaboratively with clinical and corporate services and the wider learning and development team. The individual will need to be a registered health care professional who has extensive clinical experience of working within in-patient mental health and /or learning disability settings.
