An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to work at Northcroft CMHT. The Community Mental Health Team works with some of our most vulnerable people who are experiencing mental health crises and/or have a diagnosis of a severe and enduring mental health condition.
The successful applicant will work within a multi-disciplinary team
Main duties of the job
Duties will include transcription from digital dictation from a Consultant Psychiatrist and their medical team of doctors. The successful applicant will be a focal point for patients with queries and general medical secretary duties. Working both as a team player and independently you will need to be highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. You will need to meet deadlines and be able to work under pressure. You must have the ability to manage your time effectively in order to meet the needs of the service.
The post holder will be expected to have a caring, professional and empathic approach, whilst also maintaining boundaries and confidentiality

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
