Job overview
The Business Relationship Managers team is part of the Digital Transformation portfolio. It has been very successfully integrated into Informatics and the wider Trust.
We now require a further Business Relationship Managers to join our team on a fixed term/secondment to support us as we commission and open our new hospital, Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) and beyond.
Main duties of the job
As an Informatics Business Relationship Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in working closely with clinical groups, as well as become part of a small team dedicated to helping our colleagues get the most out of their IT and the Informatics team.
Main duties will include:
Working with the clinical groups to assist with their digital ambitions.
Holding the Informatics department accountable for delivery of digital solutions.
Be a IT/Digital partner, working with key stakeholders to identify unmet
needs, propose IT solutions and assist management in the development
of business cases and project charters.
Proactively match business needs with the Trust’s existing technology
capability, by showcasing best practice with key stakeholders,
encouraging adoption of core systems and harmonised process, and
highlighting value in a business context.
Cultivate relationships with teams, medical and operations groups,
external agencies and partners to develop deep insights into the needs
of our business departments and customers.
Represent IT with external partners and customers, and consult on
selection and approval of third party service providers, web and mobile
solutions.

There are exciting times ahead, the biggest of which will be the opening of the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in late 2024. We are aiming to be a fully integrated health trust with Acute, Community and Primary Care within our portfolio, we also work very closely and in collaboration with our neighbours in the health and social care settings.

Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant experience in IT / digital preferably within a healthcare setting
- Experience of creating, communicating and managing stakeholder expectations
- Experience of managing challenging stakeholders
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree in relevant subject or significant experience
- ITIL Foundation or willing to train to achieve qualification
- Project management foundation or willing to train to achieve qualification
Desirable criteria
- ITIL Practitioner
- Practitioner in project or change management
Communications
Essential criteria
- Exceptional communications skills to all levels of staff, at all levels using various mediums.
