Job overview

As a qualified Audiologist you will be responsible in providing a high quality Audiology service to our population. Maintain a high quality diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology service to our Adult population. Support ENT Clinics by providing diagnostic procedures.

This post is open to newly qualified applicants but applicants with less than 12 months experience will be required to undertake a preceptorship period. This maybe paid on  Band 4 pay scale until competency assessments have been passed.

Main duties of the job

  • Undertake patient consultation to include history taking and devising appropriate assessment strategies, integration, interpretation and reporting of test results to patients/referring professionals and development of suitable care plans to meet individuals needs.
  • Carry out earmould impressions, using appropriate techniques.
  • Select and fit appropriate hearing aids using Real Ear Measurements.
  • Evaluate hearing aid provision using outcome measures.
  • Provide Audiological support to community based services, as required.
