The Service provides care in the home and school to ensure children with complex care needs are met

These posts are citywide and staff can expect to be moved to different areas to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting Children, Young People and Families.

You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team that includes Community Paediatricians, Paediatric & Learning Disability Nurses, Speech and Language, Physiotherapists, Education Staff and Disabled Children’s Social Care.

You will be required to either be a car driver or be able to evidence how you can travel across the city as you may be assigned to several care packages in one day to attend and support staff.

The role requires excellent communication skills, IT skills, and the ability to be adaptable, reliable and highly organised and to prioritise your workload effectively.

Experience of care in a community setting would be an advantage but not essential.  You must be able to travel around the city during the working day.

You will have access to ongoing training and development, annual appraisals and clinical supervision.
