Job overview

The Dermatology Outpatients department is looking for an enthusiastic and competent Health Care Assistant to join our growing team based at New Cross Hospital, supporting Mohs surgery. The post holder must work well within a high performing team, complimenting the exceptional care delivered to patients undergoing surgery for treatment of skin cancer. To support our specialist service, the schedule for this role is flexible. You'll be assigned workdays to cover service needs, and your shift will end when surgical cases are complete, which means your finish time will vary.

The service is delivered at New Cross Hospital (RWT) and Cannock Chase Hospital (CCH). There will be occasions when cross site work is necessary, for this a free shuttle bus runs between the two hospitals regularly.
