Exciting opportunities exist for Band 5 nurses to join our inpatient Diabetes service. C15 is a busy acute medical ward specialising in care of patients with diabetes. It has 21 beds and offers excellent inpatient facilities, 4 bedded bays with en-suite facilities. If you would like to join our nursing team then we would welcome your application.

We are looking for caring, compassionate nurses, preferably with experience, committed to delivering high standards of dignified patient care, who are highly motivated and have excellent communication skills. Successful applicants will be part of a nursing team with a skill mix of 70/30, led by a Supervisory Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse, working flexibly to provide 24 hour care, supported by a Senior Matron.

You will need to be passionate about nursing and the important contribution nurses make for patients, carers and family.

What does working in a Diabetes speciality look like?

You will join a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Consultants, specialist nurses, podiatrists, retinal screeners and dieticians who offer a full range of specialist services for patients with diabetes within the hospital and community setting.

The trust is committed to personal and professional development; successful applicants will receive support and training to deliver the care requirements of the specialty to achieve their full potential and become integral members of the multidisciplinary team.
