Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Black Country Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) as a Project Support Officer, supporting the implementation and delivery of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS). This role is hosted by The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust as part of the LMNS programme.

The Perinatal Pelvic Health Service is a key initiative within the NHS Long-Term Plan, focused on improving the prevention, identification, and treatment of pelvic health issues during pregnancy and after birth. As Project Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support across the Black Country region.

This role is fully remote, and the postholder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery.

As part of the ongoing development of the service, a Single Point of Access (SPA) is being established to improve how patients access support. As this element is implemented, the duties of the role may evolve to include direct communication with patients, either via email or telephone, in relation to self-referrals and service queries.

Main duties of the job

To support a range of projects as directed by the project team to enable the delivery of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Programme.

Using various systems maintain documentation (project plans, project risk register, meeting notes, schedules, stakeholder contacts) to support the delivery of the project plan and the monitoring framework.

To order and maintain stocks of equipment and supplies required for running of the project.

Support the project team with performance management activities, including the collection and presentation of information and data in relation to performance and other related issues.

To provide support for the arrangement and delivery of Perinatal Pelvic Health Service training.

The post holder will process sensitive information regarding the project, therefore maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection principles is vital.

Carry out basic analysis of data to show trends and make comparisons to other data sources including production of data relating to project performance.
