As a Radiographic Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our radiology department, contributing to essential imaging services that help diagnose and treat our patients.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn and grow!

Main duties of the job

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Radiologists, Radiographers and administrative staff to maintain a good level of service
  • Support Radiologists, Radiographers and technicians by providing a high standard of patient care before during and after examination
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and UHBW colleagues 
  • Liaise with colleagues regarding transportation of patients to and from the x-ray dept
  • To assist with moving equipment and help with transferring patients on and off examination couches
