Within this role, you will support the delivery of a specialist rehabilitation service in the therapy gym at South Bristol Community Hospital – working across the two pathways of Older Person’s Rehabilitation and Outpatient Neurology Service.
Unique benefits to working in this team include:
- Support by highly skilled and experienced qualified therapists and specialist band 7’s
- Supportive, integrated team working
- Robust in-service training programme
- Protected, regular clinical supervision and annual appraisals
- Participation in service development and QI projects
- Support to attend appropriate external training courses
- Wellbeing sessions and shared lunches
- Exemption from weekend and bank holiday working
The service is currently trialling two different programs of service delivery to determine whether a 4 day or 5-day service is best for our patients and staff. As a new member of staff you will be part of this project, collecting data and contributing to the decision regarding the future of the service. This means your working days may change during the first 6 months working here, but this will be in liaison with the team. Want to hear more about the benefits of working at UHBW? We wish to make candidates aware we are unable to support relocation costs for this post. As it is a part-time Band 4 post, it does not meet the financial threshold for visa sponsorship.
