Job overview

UHBW Primary Care Dental Service has an exciting opportunity for dental registrants to be part of their recently refreshed Oral Health Promotion Team.  The OHP Team works closely with other clinical services in UHBW as well as local authority colleagues to deliver training, signposting and support to improve the oral health of the local population.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with local authorities to deliver oral health promotion programmes
  • Working with colleagues in UHBW to deliver mouthcare training to clinical staff
  • Planning, developing and delivering training programmes and materials to other healthcare professionals
  • Working with the rest of the OHP team to effectively deliver Oral Health Promotion interventions
