That’s why we want you to join our vibrant team at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC), in a Trust previously rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, and help us deliver world-class care in a department that feels like a family.

Bluebell and Sunflower Wards are our neurosciences wards which provides a tertiary service. Care is provided by an integrated team of specialist Paediatric Neurologists, Paediatric Neurosurgeons, Paediatric Neuro-rehabilitation and Allied Health Professionals. Our ward consists of 12 beds and a separate Neuro rehabilitation unit with 8 beds. We treat neurosurgical, spinal surgery, specialist epilepsy surgery service, neurology and neuro oncology patients aged 0-16.

We have full and part time positions available and want enthusiastic and committed nurses to join our team.

Please note that this vacancy is not suitable for internationally educated nurses requiring to complete OSCE in order to register with the NMC.

  • Broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment

  • Demonstrate competence in clinical skills relevant to the clinical area

  • RSCN/ RN child branch (NMC registered) or equivalent
  • Current NMC registration

  • Work towards relevant university accredited post basic study programmes e.g. teaching and assessing course
