Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business & Administration Apprentice to join our Learning Organisational Development & Design Team (LODD).

You will work with the team to deliver learning and development programmes across a range of community health services.

The team supports all learners across the organisation to develop to their full potential, this includes, but not limited to, new starters attending their induction, mandatory training for all staff,  essential to role training for all clinical staff and supporting non clinical staff. 

Main duties of the job

•               To support new starters with their induction
•               To support the team with various administrative duties and support during meetings
•               Management and maintenance of a range of Training databases and spread sheets
•               To develop knowledge and understanding training and systems
•               Contribute to the development of LODD intranet pages
•               Dealing with enquiries through email and Microsoft Teams
•               Book venues to support training events and ensure resources/presentations/handouts are available and up to date
•               To maintain sufficient stocks of equipment and stationery and place orders as and when required
•               General administration including photocopying, filing
•               Producing written communication and correspondence
•               To complete the Apprenticeship within the agreed timescale
•               Hybrid working from home and our Yate HQ office; however you may be asked to travel to other community bases across the geography
•               To communicate effectively and liaise with other professionals in a clear, concise and professional manor
•               Communicate with other departments to assist in providing high quality and efficient service
