Job overview

Applications are invited for the appointment to a substantive post as Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The post will comprise 10.0 PA and is non-resident on call.

We are looking for a motivated and committed individual to join our supportive and forward-thinking Obstetrics and Gynaecology team. This new position has been created as part of a planned expansion of the consultant workforce. The post holder will be expected to provide effective clinical leadership in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care that meets the needs of women and their families. In the initial phase of the role, a key responsibility will be contributing to the reduction of the backlog resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
