An exciting opportunity has become available for a person to support the Clinical Navigator leading the new Vague Symptoms Faster Diagnosis Service at Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust based at the Wycombe Hospital site.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to play a pivotal role in the small but dynamic team, which is currently a one year pilot service designed to provide GPs with a faster diagnostic pathway for patients with Vague Symptoms which could indicate cancer.
This RDA role involves working with the Clinical Navigator to ensure all of the patients referred to the service are seen, tested and treatment planned in a timely way, and will require the use of multiple electronic clinical systems so IT literacy is essential. Full training will be given.
Experience in a patient care environment is desirable but not essential, what is more important is good communication skills and attention to detail.
The successful candidate can look forward to working within a friendly, dynamic, and specialised, multi-professional team.
This is a part time role of 25 working hours per week to be worked over 5 days Monday to Friday . Exact hours can be discussed on application and there is opportunity to work them within school hours.
