Job overview

Clinic 33 at Addenbrooke’s Hospital are looking for a permanent well-organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their administrative team. This rewarding role involves regular contact with patients, medical professionals and external agencies via telephone, email and face to face.

Main duties of the job

The clinic is occupied by clinical neurophysiology and clinical genetics; the post will involve work for both services. The successful candidate will work alongside the neurophysiology administrative team situated within clinic 33.

Clinical neurophysiology are a diagnostic team of healthcare scientists and doctors who undertake a wide range of physiological investigations that assess brain and nerve function, enabling diagnosis and monitoring of nervous system disorders such as Epilepsy, Multiple sclerosis and Motor Neurone disease.

Clinical genetics are a highly-skilled multidisciplinary team of doctors, genetic counsellors and clinical scientists providing individuals and families with clinical and laboratory diagnosis of genetic disorders, risk assessment and genetic counselling for patients who have a family history of an inherited disorder or a family cancer syndrome and predictive genetic testing including prenatal diagnosis for some genetic disorders.
