PaNDR Business Support Manager

Job overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Support Manager to join the Paediatric and Neonatal Decision Support and Retrieval Service (PaNDR). 

Based at Addenbrooke's & The Rosie Hospitals in Cambridge, PaNDR is a unique regional service, delivering paediatric and neonatal critical care retrieval across 17 hospitals within the East of England. 

The nature of this role requires a significant degree of organisational, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and respond to day-to-day challenges supported by the Deputy Operations Manager. 

Main duties of the job

Lead on a number of business support functions for the PaNDR office and be responsible for the implementation and management of relevant systems and processes.

Manage defined service areas within the responsibility of PaNDR, supporting Trust and regional strategies.
Manage and coordinate the day to day activities of the Emergency Bed Service team.
Lead on staff development for the Emergency Bed Service within PaNDR.
Act as the accountable lead for business and administrative support within the PaNDR service.
Lead on service improvement and development necessary to address the changing needs of the PaNDR service.
Maintain and promote the professional image of the PaNDR service.
Supervise and coordinate a comprehensive, confidential and high quality Executive Assistant service to the PaNDR Senior Management Team.

All roles in the Trust include a mandatory 12-week training period. Therefore successful candidates are expected to have the Right to Work for a period of at least 6 months from the proposed start date. Immigration and Right to Work status will be discussed with successful candidates at conditional offer. CUH will not offer sponsorship to candidates that have applied for a fee waiver.
