Job overview
To provide high quality analytical and performance monitoring support, producing regular reports and data sets as well as ad-hoc analysis on time and to specification.
To actively manage the pathways for patients within the Radiotherapy Service ensuring all national and local targets are met. Deputising for the Directorate Support Manager when necessary.
Main duties of the job
1. Extract, analyse and present detailed and complex information in response to both routine and ad hoc user requirements from a range of data sources including corporate systems, departmental systems and external data sources
2. Carry out all analysis and reporting tasks efficiently, choosing appropriate software tools, and making full use of the technical reporting infrastructure, including SQL Server, MS Office software, Crystal Reports and other specialist reporting tools.
3. Contribute to reporting activities
4. Design and use appropriate validation mechanisms to ensure that all reports produced meet the users requirements and are accurate, reliable and clearly presented. Investigate results in detail if figures appear inaccurate, go against the trend, or are queried by report users.
5. Identify weaknesses in information systems data flows and data quality, and work proactively with appropriate staff to ensure identified problems are resolved.

- Educated to A level or NVQ level 3 Customer Service/ Business Admin /ITQ or equivalent experience
