Job overview

Daisy Ward is a 21 bedded ward providing care for both elective and acute surgical admissions, and Procedure Unit is a 16 bedded Day Surgery unit.

We are looking for a well organised, confident and motivated person looking to join our admin staff who are a vital part of the ward team. You will need to be a team player and be able to work unsupervised. You will need to have good communication skills, be highly organised and able to work under pressure. Previous experience in a hospital environment would be an advantage.

The role involves managing and preparing medical notes, liaising with the admission and pre-op assessment teams and collaborating with the medical records library. You must have an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy and have some computer skills. All the necessary training to use the Trusts IT packages will be given.

The days of work will be Tuesday & Wednesday 7:30-15:15.

You must be flexible to cover other days when necessary.
