Job overview

We are seeking to recruit a Ward Clerk for a full time position on Apple Tree Ward. Are you someone who enjoys a challenge and able to work as part of a large team whilst being able to work under your own initiative and are you looking to work in a fast paced healthcare setting? Then this role may be for you. 

You will be the welcoming face of the unit, therefore we are looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual, who demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills.

You will need to have an ability to be flexible in your role and duties due to the dynamic nature of the ward. 

Main duties of the job

To ensure the smooth application and control of all administration, clerical and computer processes associated with the work area.  Ensure the provision of effective communication to both patients and staff to enhance patient care.
