You will also manage NICU and neonatal care for at-risk deliveries as well as management of children in the assessment area of the children’s ward together with the consultant and junior trainees.

Jointly, you will manage children in the A&E department together with the A&E staff and the GPs providing out-of-hours care. In addition, you will be part of rapid referral clinic and take part in sub-specialty clinics.

You will be encouraged to participate in the teaching and examination/assessment of medical students from Cambridge University and paediatric trainees doing all aspects of the MRCPCH examination.

You will be expected to attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in accordance with the specifications laid down by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
