Logistics and Materials Management Business Partners

An exciting opportunity has arisen with the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership,   Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Team function, specifically 5 Logistics and Materials Management Business Partners across South Wales

 1 x Business Partner to develop and manage the inventory management system within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, Based in Bridgend Stores, Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

1 x Business Partner to develop and manage the inventory management system within   Swansea Bay University Health Board, Based in Bridgend Stores, Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

1 x Business Partner to develop and manage the inventory management system within   Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, based in Newport Stores, Imperial Park, Newport

1 x Business Partner to develop and manage the inventory management system within   Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, based in Newport Stores, Imperial Park, Newport

1 x Business Partner to develop and manage the inventory management system Hywel Dda University Health Board, based in Glangwili Receipt and Distribution Stores, Glangwilli Hospital, Carmarthen

All roles involve an element of travel across Wales working within the Health Boards hospital sites.

We are looking for 5 professional and dedicated Logistics and Materials Management Business Partners who will continue to develop the Health Boards existing inventory management systems and Scan 4 Safety work streams to meet the needs of the service.

As the Logistics and Materials Management Business Partner for the region, the post holder’s role is to enable efficient and effective use of resources, to develop an integrated inventory management system and to manage partnership working maximizing opportunity wherever possible.  Effectively manage the specific project timescales and deadlines that contribute to the implementation of Scan 4 Safety within the Health Board ensuring targets and deliverables are successfully achieved.  Supporting the NWSSP Procurement Services Senior Leadership Team [SLT] on the local and wider business plans to ensure they reflect the Organisations annual delivery plan and strategies as set out within its Integrated Medium-Term Plan [IMTP].

The Business Partner will network and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, partners & suppliers. Having the ability to be able to communicate to all key stakeholders, establish and maintain effective working relationships is a fundamental aspect of this role. Upon meeting with stakeholders, partners, colleagues, and suppliers, you will be a representative of our service and a professional manner is imperative. 

To contribute to and represent Procurement Services on any relevant All Wales Groups. To lead on All Wales projects that have been disseminated from the All-Wales Work Groups.
