Digital Health and Care Wales is an ambitious organisation created by Welsh Government to lead on the digital transformation of health and care. It builds on the digital architecture and national services put in place by the NHS Wales Informatics Service over the past decade.
The organisation will lead on large-scale developments that make a significant difference to the people of Wales as well as to health and care professionals, such as expansion of the digital patient record and the creation of a National Data Resource. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our Strategic Talent and Leadership Development team at DHCW. This role supports the design, delivery and evaluation of inclusive, engaging, and digitally enabled learning interventions that build workforce capability and leadership across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the development of our workforce and help embed a culture of lifelong learning, leadership, and digital capability across the organisation.

Main duties of the job
What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will identify, develop, deliver and evaluate learning interventions, including:
- Designing, facilitating and evaluating workshops, webinars, and bitesize modules
- Coordinate early careers programmes, including apprentices and graduates
- Using the DHCW Digital Learning Portal and other digital tools to enhance and embed learning
- Collecting and analysing feedback and data to improve learning outcomes
- Promoting inclusive development and employability initiatives
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support learning and talent interventions

What We Are Looking For
You will bring experience in learning design and facilitation, strong digital skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be confident using platforms like Microsoft 365, ESR, as well as working with data to assess impact and identify and interpret trends. A background in talent development or leadership learning is ideal.

Presentation Task for Interview Candidates
You are required to develop a one-day programme aimed at improving collaborative working within DHCW and with key stakeholders. As part of this task, please prepare a 10-minute presentation that includes the following:
- As the programme facilitator, share the outline of the programme content
- Select part of this content to deliver to the interview panel (minimum 5 minutes). You can use any method of tool to deliver this.

Essential criteria
- Degree /PGCE in an associated professional field (or equivalent qualification / experience)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of delivering training to groups with multiple professions and grades
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications
- Previous experience of planning and delivering training courses
Skills and Attributes
Essential criteria
- Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and deliver training courses / materials on the use of a full range of PC systems/software
- Ability to plan and organise complex activities and Programmes, making adjustments on an ongoing basis
