Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic

Job overview
Orthopaedic Outpatient Department encompasses a wide variety of adult elective orthopaedic care, in an outpatient setting. It looks after patients pre and post-operatively in a clinic environment. The clinic runs Monday-Friday day time.
There is great support for a Registered Nurse, with a designated preceptor and a supernumerary period. You will have a specific pathway to achieve competencies specific to the areas within Clinic. We are looking for a nurse who is enthusiastic, motivated and flexible in their approach.
Main duties of the job
The job is full time, but part time hours will be considered working Monday to Friday. The role offers the qualified nurses the opportunity to gain casting skills, complex wound care including VAC/PICO and pin site care, general running of clinics, close collaborative working with consultants and the multi disciplinary team, theatre experience and nurse led clinics.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
