Job overview

The role of Planning and Business Continuity Co-ordinator will play a critical role in ensuring organisational resilience and strategic planning. It ensures that the organisation is prepared to respond effectively to disruptions, safeguarding people, assets, and operations and provides administrative capacity to a variety of planning and transformational activities of the Planning Performance and Informatics Teams.

Main duties of the job

·       To support the Planning Performance and Informatics (PPI) Team comprising Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery, the Planning Performance and Informatics Team and the Transformational Management Office in the delivery of a professional, high quality and responsive service to the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership staff and partners across Wales.

·       To co-ordinate and support meetings, learning and development programs, staff awareness workshops and any other events led by  the PPI team, using initiative and relevant experience and always maintaining confidentiality.

·       To support the team in the co-delivery of plans and projects with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

·       To input data and extract reports from a variety of digital systems to enable efficient reporting of the Division and Organisational performance

·       To oversee and maintain the various communication channels within the team, including the SharePoint intranet site and internal newsletters.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Good standard of general education up GCSE level or equivalent
  • Good standard of general education up GCSE level or equivalent
  • Llythrennedd digidol h.y. EDSQ, ICDL, defnydd cyfatebol neu amlwg o systemau digidol fel offer Microsoft Office, systemau Cofnodi Cyflogaeth ac ati. tal literacy i.e. EDSQ, ICDL, equivalent or proven use of digital systems such as Microsoft Office tools, Employment Recording systems etc.
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge and understanding of Performance Management and Transformational Management administration
  • Knowledge and experience of audit processes

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of carrying out a wide range of administrative duties in a demanding office environment.
  • Experience of successful team working
  • Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data
  • Experience of working as a team and proven ability to work remotely
