People and OD Business Partner

Digital Health and Care Wales is an ambitious organisation created by Welsh Government to lead on the digital transformation of health and care. It builds on the digital architecture and national services put in place by the NHS Wales Informatics Service over the past decade.
The organisation will lead on large-scale developments that make a significant difference to the people of Wales as well as to health and care professionals, such as expansion of the digital patient record and the creation of a National Data Resource. Job overview
We are looking for a highly motivated values-driven people professional to join our team at an exciting time in the evolution of the People & Organisational Development Directorate as we grow to enable the organisation to meet its objectives through the commitment of our employees.
As a People & OD Business Partner you will work collaboratively across designated Directorates and will establish strong working relationships with the DHCW leadership team and quickly gain credibility with the Directorates and your People & OD colleagues. You will influence best people practices and initiatives across the organisation to help make DHCW an employer of choice.
The ability to analyse people data and present insightful findings will be a requirement for this role We are also looking for a people professional who has a wealth of experience of organisational change processes and up to date best practice within this area.
You will support the Senior People Business Partner and your team in the delivery of the People & OD Strategy which will enable DHCW’s people to deliver the organisation’s objectives.
Main duties of the job
You will also be required to support the delivery of Directorate Workforce Planning, both operational and the longer-term strategic planning.
You will have a good knowledge of best people practice with a high level of experience and judgement. You will work to continuously evolve as a people professional through continuous professional development contributing to an environment of excellence, learning, and shared innovation.
You will be fully qualified CIPD (Postgraduate) or Chartered MCIPD. Alternatively, you will be working towards or evidence of CPD Masters level or equivalent level of work experience.
Successful candidates will be requested to prepare a 10-minute presentation that explores the following:

Essential criteria
- Fully Qualified CIPD (Post Graduate) membership Chartered Membership of MCIPD or working towards
- Evidence of CPD Masters level or equivalent level of work experience.
Experience

- Significant experience of handling highly complex employee relations issues including advising at formal hearings and tribunals
