An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Ward Clerk to join Angharad Ward and the Paediatric Ambulatory Care Unit (PACU) at Bronglais General Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent people skills to work with and support clinical staff, children, young people and their families on Angharad.

We are committed to the provision of high quality, evidence based practice to meet the needs of children, young people and parents ensuring we provide family centred care at all times. You must have good communication skills, experience of working as a ward clerk, plus experience of working with the  Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) Information Technology (or equivalent) and be both organised and flexible to the needs of the service in managing a varied clerical workload within a busy health care setting.

You must be able to work both independently and as a valuable part of a large team. The ability to empathise with children, young people and their families is essential. You need to have a flexible approach to work as the post involves rotation between short and long days, including weekends and some bank holidays. It may also involve working on other paediatric units within the Health Board depending on service need.

Interviews for this post to be held on Monday the 3rd June 2019.
