Hywel Dda University Health Board reserve the right to close vacancies after 24 hours if a large number of suitable applications are received. We encourage early applications to ensure consideration for a post.

There is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to undertake the role of Senior Nurse Manager (SNM) in Critical Care.

This is a second post (to join the Senior Nurse Manager already in post) and will support the complex multi-site structure of the Critical Care portfolio across the large geographical area of Hywel Dda University Health Board and its health care provision.

Please note that this role supports all Critical Care provision (4 units at each hospital site) across the Health Board and, as such, an ability to travel regularly to all sites/units is essential.

This senior role within Critical Care requires an applicant to have extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, with an understanding of managing clinical workload challenges and the related management and administrative tasks that this brings.

Leading nursing care and maintaining professional standards across 4 units in a large geographical area is challenging; the role will be undertaken within a service portfolio with the support of a Clinical Lead and Service Delivery Manager (SDM).

If you believe that you could be the person to undertake this challenge, we invite you to submit your application.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Interviews to be held on 30th April 2021.
