We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and motivation to support the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in providing appropriate therapy to facilitate prompt patient discharge from Withybush General Hospital, maximising the functional skills of adults.

You will become part of our busy and friendly therapy team in the delivery of rehabilitation to adults in hospital and the community environment, and be instrumental in achieving rapid patient discharge from local secondary care providers, working towards functional independence and minimizing patients’ length of stay. You will have considerable experience of working with patients with complex healthcare or rehabilitation needs.

You will also have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement, and/or rehabilitation. You should be able to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills, to enable you to assess and treat patients within protocols without immediate direct supervision. You will work with others in the team in the treatment of patients.

We are looking for a caring and friendly person who has the ability to get on with people in a mature and positive way.

To apply you should have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent plus relevant experience working in a therapy department in a physical health care setting.
