Hospital Medical Rota Co-ordinator - Withybush General Hospital

Maternity Cover fixed term for 10 Months

We are looking to recruit a Medical Rota Co-ordinator to assist and support the Hospital Management Team at Withybush General Hospital in the management of medical rotas and staffing of Acute Services, including sourcing locum cover for rotas and dealing with queries.  The postholder will also be required to manage the approval and collation of all aspects of doctors' leave in line with the processes in place.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide an efficient and effective service in a pressured environment.  The postholder will work closely with Consultants, doctors and management team to trouble shoot rota issues.  

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and proven administrative experience, including keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems.  Candidates will also need to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise their workload in order to meet tight timescales.  Previous experience with rota coordination, working in a Workforce department or working with senior medical staff and doctors is desirable although not essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply
