Main duties of the job

Communication & Support

  • Answer calls and respond to enquiries promptly.
  • Provide advice and guidance in line with national standards.
  • Welcome visitors and address their queries.
  • Adapt communication methods to support staff in stressful situations.

Administration

  • Manage bookings and maintain accurate records.
  • Produce reports and type correspondence using Big Hand digital dictation.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes, and distribute notes.
  • Maintain filing systems and stock control.

Service Development

  • Assist with campaigns and events, including data evaluation and diary coordination.
  • Support creation of standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in meetings and training to maintain up-to-date knowledge.

Other Duties

  • Undertake general administrative tasks (mail handling).
  • Work outside normal hours when required.

To provide a high quality, responsive administration support for the Occupational Health and Wellbeing service. Prioritising and diverting workload, such as, calls, correspondence, and issues to the relevant team 
members, to ensure the workforce is offered the appropriate advice, support, and guidance in relation to their health and wellbeing.
