Job overview
The role is to support the Senior Business Accountants within Unplanned Care in the provision of high quality accurate financial information. Provide analysis and advice to managers within the Trust in the most timely and effective manner, and co-ordinate the production of monthly financial information to facilitate the production of monthly financial reports.
Main duties of the job
The role will support the Business Accountant in the provision of financial information, analysis, and advice to budget holders.
You will support with the production of monthly financial management information, completing variance analysis and forecasting.
In addition, as well as attending regular meetings with budget holders, you will also assist in the budget setting process and reporting systems that enable an effective financial management service to Unplanned Care.

Essential criteria
- CCAB or CIMA Post Graduate Diploma Level or equivalent experience.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Minimum 3 years financial management experience of which 2 years should be in management accounts
- Experience of staff management
Desirable criteria
- Experience of NHS Finance.

- Good knowledge of the main aspects of NHS Finance, particularly those relevant to financial management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
