Job overview
The general pharmacy department is looking for recruit a pharmacy assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our highly motivated and focused Cancer services team to support the pharmacy by ensuring that the administrative and stock control duties involved with Immunoglobulins (IVIGs) are undertaken.
This position is for 16 hours per week but can be flexible as to how those hours are used. For example four 4 hour days or two 8 hour days etc
Main duties of the job
The post holder must have-
Good organisational skills
Demonstrate high levels of accuracy in all areas of work
Able to work with PC’s input data and other information
The post holder will be required to undertake further education, training and validation before being allowed to undertake the duties required of this post.
Be able to work in a team or autonomously when working on the wards during top up duties.
To participate in GDP training to meet the requirements of the wholesale dealer Licence
To undertake all mandatory training as requested by the Trust
