Cornwall Health Library provides high‑quality information services and resources to healthcare staff and students across Cornwall. We are proud to contribute to excellent patient care by delivering robust evidence, training, and support to a diverse range of users, including NHS staff across all roles, general practitioners, hospice teams, paramedics, and medical, dental, nursing and midwifery students.

Our main library, located in the Knowledge Spa on the Royal Cornwall Hospital site, offers an inclusive, welcoming space that supports learning, professional development, and wellbeing.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

As Information Specialist, you will play a key role in:

Delivering a pro‑active, responsive, and high‑quality library service to staff and students of the University of Exeter Medical School.

Providing library inductions and teaching effective search skills to university staff and students.

Supporting wider NHS organisations and the University of Plymouth School of Nursing and Midwifery across Cornwall by retrieving high‑quality evidence from a range of information sources to inform patient care, service improvement and research.

We are looking for a skilled, confident, compassionate, and forward‑thinking individual to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop both your professional library expertise and your leadership skills, supported by an experienced and caring team.

This post will be based in Cornwall Health Library on the Treliske site in Truro.

The post commences from or after May 2026.
