This vacancy offer the opportunity to be part of a growing, vibrant team, providing effective health care to the people of north Cumbria and working to bring about dynamic change in the way patients requiring health care are managed in north Cumbria.
There are exciting new opportunities as we develop and transform our orthopaedic services. We have trauma centre status and are currently further developing our frail elderly pathways in line with best practice tariff outcomes. We are 40 bedded Trauma Orthopaedic ward. We work very closely with a great team of Allied Health professionals to care for and rehabilitate our patients.

Based at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, we are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated team players. You will be actively involved in the assessment, planning, delivery and the evaluation of care as a key member of our multi-disciplinary team. The newly launched nursing strategy supports our team to work in line with our Trust values.
Main duties of the job

The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.

Disclosure and Barring Service:
On 28 November 2020, the new Disclosure and Barring Service filtering rules will come into effect.
The changes mean that:
- youth cautions, reprimands and final warnings will no longer be subject to automatic disclosure

Standard Check: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
Enhanced Check: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
