INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY

We are seeking to recruit a Band 3  Project Co-ordinator to work 37.5 hours per week within  Practice Development Team .

The post will provide flexible administrative, project and change management support to key initiatives that promote and support a learning organisation.  This will include development of programmes, new ways of working and providing support to staff and managers to embed and sustain improvements.

Main duties of the job

The role is based at the Education Centre at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle.

The role is to provide a full range of project co-ordination activities for practice development initiatives which enhance a learning culture and include the following:

  • A full secretariat service for meetings e.g. agenda, minutes, action plans etc
  • Collating regular feedback and evaluation reports for workshops / programmes delivered 
  • Developing project life cycle documentation.
  • Developing processes and procedures that support effective and efficient services e.g. SOPs
  • Developing communication materials and resources and ensure that these are disseminated appropriately to support engagement
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders e.g. HEI’s to ensure that processes are developed correctly and in line with requirements, policies and procedures
  • Supporting the development of policies and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and up to date
  • Monitoring progress of projects/activities against agreed KPI’s, timescales etc and escalate issues and concerns as appropriate
  • Co-ordinating the timely processing of purchase orders, invoices etc and maintain basis financial information to support monitoring and reporting processes
  • Analysing and present complex information in a variety of formats as required
  • Maintaining and develop databases/information management systems to ensure data is accurate and up to date

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • • 5 GCSEs Grade A* to C or equivalent qualifications, incl. English language and maths.
  • • Diploma / NVQ level III in business administration or equivalent qualification / experience
Desirable criteria
  • • RSA Level 2, ECDL or equivalent

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • • Project and change management experience
  • • Experience in the use of Micorsoft Office products
  • • Administrative support to teams within a health and care setting including coordinating meetings and events, minute taking.
  • • Experience of developing systems and processes
  • • Designing and developing learning resources e.g. presentation slides
  • • Implementing tracking and monitoring processes
Desirable criteria
  • • Experience of using social media for professional or educational purposes
