The Practice Educator Team are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic a member of staff with experience in an acute clinical area. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and an interest in the training and supervision of learners. They also require excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You would become part of the team which delivers a variety of skills workshops to multi-disciplinary staff members and also gain experience in the supervision and assessment of nursing students.
It is a welcoming and supportive team which is currently looking to expand to accommodate the increasing number of learners within the organisation, both in primary and secondary care.
Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
